Who we are
We’re Sarah and Danny, the husband-and-wife team behind Turner & Pooch Dog Grooming. Born from our shared love for animals, Turner & Pooch is built on compassion, quality, and a commitment to gentle, personalised care.
Sarah is City & Guilds trained, fully insured, and canine first aid certified. She began grooming in January 2025, taking on this new challenge alongside her long-standing career as a dedicated NHS midwife. Her calm, caring nature and professional training help create a grooming experience that’s both safe and nurturing.
At Turner & Pooch, we believe every dog deserves to feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved. That’s why all appointments are one-on-one, in a quiet, low-stress environment tailored to your dog’s unique needs.

Health First Grooming: We perform a full check for bumps, warts, skin tags, ear infections and tailor treatments using natural, high quality shampoos and conditioner for your dogs coat and skin. We will always discuss with you if we feel you should refer to a veterinarian for advice or treatment.

What to expect
A warm welcome awaits you and your dog. We begin with a relaxed meet-and-greet, giving your pup the chance to explore the space, get comfortable, and get to know me before any grooming begins. It’s all about building trust and ensuring a calm, positive experience from the very start.
Tailored Grooming
Each grooming session is one-on-one, with no other dogs present — creating a calm, focused environment just for your pup. Every step is guided by your dog’s comfort level, with plenty of breaks, treats, and affection along the way. We tailor the experience to suit their needs, making grooming as stress-free and positive as possible.
Healthy Spa Experience
Our state-of-the-art hydrobath delivers a deeper, more effective clean while promoting healthy skin and a shiny, nourished coat. The high-pressure water system gently lifts dirt, dead skin, and embedded debris — even from the thickest of coats — offering both a thorough cleanse and a soothing experience for your dog.
After the bath, your pup enjoys a warm dry, style cut, and full paw and ear care. Each session typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on coat condition and your dog’s individual needs and behaviour.
